Dodecylbenzenesulfonyl azide is an aromatic hydrocarbon that is used as a reagent in organic synthesis. It reacts with nucleophiles to form sulfur-nitrogen bonds. This reaction has been shown to be stereoselective, with the sulfonate group being positioned on the more hindered face of the molecule.
