Description:
3,4 Dimethoxybenzenesulphonyl chloride is a nucleophilic agent that inhibits angiogenesis. It binds to the enzyme complexes and blocks their activity, which prevents the formation of new blood vessels. 3,4 Dimethoxybenzenesulphonyl chloride has shown potent inhibitory activities against mcf-7 cells and low energy plate test. The selectivity of this molecule is due to its ability to react with chloride ion, which is present in high concentrations in mammalian cells. 3,4 Dimethoxybenzenesulphonyl chloride also reacts with calcimimetic agents by protonation and linking to a linker.
