Description:

2,5-Difluoroaniline is a chemical compound that is used in the industrial preparation of pharmaceuticals and other organic compounds. It can be used to synthesize a number of drugs such as antipsychotic medications, antibiotics, and cancer chemotherapy agents. The compound is activated by the addition of a base in order to form an amine or glucuronide conjugate. 2,5-Difluoroaniline has been shown to inhibit γ-secretase activity in human liver cells and urine samples. This compound also has low energy levels which may be responsible for its ability to inhibit γ-secretase activity at low concentrations.
