Description:
2,3-DiMethylphenylboronic acid is a synthetic chemical that is used in cross-coupling reactions. It is used as an additive to the reaction mixture during the synthesis of acetanilides and triazoles. 2,3-DiMethylphenylboronic acid has been shown to react with amide groups to form amides or with aryl boronic acids to form arenes. This chemical can also be used as a nucleophile in bioisosteric replacement reactions to synthesize pyridine compounds and carbazoles.
