Description:

2-Diphenylphosphanyl-benzaldehyde oxiMe is a catalytic compound that can be used to synthesize primary amides from nitroarenes and secondary amines. It is also used in the preparation of nanoparticles, which are spherical particles with diameters ranging from 10 to 100 nanometers. 2-Diphenylphosphanyl-benzaldehyde oxiMe is used as a cocatalyst for the preparation of palladium nanoparticles and as an activator for dehydrating agents. This compound has been shown to be a good ligand for colloids, which are suspensions of very small solid particles. 2-Diphenylphosphanyl-benzaldehyde oxiMe has been shown to increase the rate of reaction when it is used as an additive in acetonitrile and aldoximes, which are compounds that are made up of two parts: an oxygen atom and a carbon atom.
