Description:

1,3-Diphenyl-1,1,3,3-tetramethyldisiloxane is a hydrocarbon that belongs to the group of aromatic hydrocarbons. It has an average particle size and is a volatile liquid at room temperature. 1,3-Diphenyl-1,1,3,3-tetramethyldisiloxane is used as an inorganic material in various applications including as a thermal expansion agent for glass and ceramics. The physical properties of this compound are also largely dependent on its temperature. For example, at high temperatures it behaves like an organic solvent while at low temperatures it behaves like an inorganic solid. This hydrocarbon can be used to clean metal surfaces and boron nitride substrates by removing chemical species such as silicon dioxide or other crystalline structures.
