Description

2,4-Dimethyl-3-cyclohexenecarboxaldehyde is a liquid that is used as a detergent additive. It has been shown to react with cationic surfactants and esters in the presence of a film-forming polymer to form particles that can be used in a detergent composition. 2,4-Dimethyl-3-cyclohexenecarboxaldehyde also has the ability to create an active substance film on surfaces which can be used as an ingredient in microcapsules. This product is also useful for its evaporation properties and low energy requirements.
