Description:
2,3-Dihydro-1H-cyclopenta[b]quinolin-9-amine is a quinoline derivative that inhibits the activity of tyrosine kinases. It binds to the active site of the enzyme and prevents it from binding to its substrate, thus inhibiting its activity. 2,3-Dihydro-1H-cyclopenta[b]quinolin-9-amine has been shown to inhibit the tyrosine kinase EGFR with an IC50 value of 0.5 μM in vitro. This drug has also been shown to be effective against other tyrosine kinases such as Src and PDGFRβ.
