Product Information
- 2,3-Dihydro-1-benzofuran-4-amine
- 4-Benzofuranamine, 2,3-Dihydro-
2,3-Dihydrobenzofuran-4-amine is a synthetic chemical that is used in organic chemistry as a building block. It can be synthesized using trifluoroacetic acid and an inorganic base such as sodium carbonate. The reaction is carried out with an amination reaction with nitrite as the nitrogen source. This compound can also be synthesized by chlorination of 2,3-dihydrobenzofuran to afford the chlorocarbon intermediate. The phosphine ligand palladium then reacts with the molecule to form the final product. A reductive amination reaction can also be used to produce this compound from nitrite and 2,3-dihydrobenzofuran.
