2,3-Diamino-5-chloropyridine (2,3-DAP) is a diamine that has been shown to interact with other molecules through hydrogen bonding. It has been shown to be an acceptor in the hydrogen bonding of diazepinones and fluorescence studies. 2,3-DAP has also been used as a starting material in the synthesis of clozapine and imidazoles. The molecule has been studied using electrochemical techniques at different temperatures, including thermally induced hydrogen bond formation.
