Description:
3,4-Dibromoisoquinoline is a diarylethene with structural modifications. The methyl group at the 3 position of the isoquinoline ring is replaced by an ethyl group, and the bromine at the 4 position is replaced by a chlorine atom. This modification results in photochromism and phosphorescent properties that are dependent on temperature.
