Description

Fosaprepitant is a drug that belongs to the class of drugs used for chemotherapy. It is a prodrug that is converted in vivo to aprepitant, its active form. Fosaprepitant acts as an antagonist of the neurokinin-1 receptor (NK-1R) and inhibits the binding of substance P, which leads to an anti-inflammatory effect.
