3,5-Difluoro-benzamidine hydrochloride (3,5-DFB) is an inhibitor of the enzyme lysyl oxidase. It has been shown to inhibit the synthesis of collagen and elastin in vitro using the electrophoresis method. 3,5-DFB also binds to a specific site on laminar and may have antithrombotic properties.
