Description:

Di-n-Hexylketone is a liquid that is colorless and has a sweet odor. It has been shown to have thermal expansion properties that are similar to those of glycol ethers. Di-n-hexylketone also has the ability to react with hydroxyl groups, which can be found in methyl ethyl ketones, as well as particles and molecules. In order for this reaction to occur, the temperature must be above the phase transition temperature. Di-n-hexylketone is often used in particle or microcapsule flow systems because it can act as both a solid catalyst and a liquid.
