Description:

(+)-Diacetyl-D-tartaric acid is a chiral organic compound that is soluble in organic solvents. (+)-Diacetyl-D-tartaric acid also exhibits mesomorphic properties, meaning it changes from liquid to solid and vice versa at certain temperatures.
