Description

Disodium Phthalocyanine is a coordination complex that has been studied extensively for its optical properties. Disodium Phthalocyanine is a molecule composed of alternating single and double nitrogen atoms that are bonded together in a chain-like structure. The resulting product is then heated to remove the sodium or potassium salt, followed by purification by recrystallization.
