4,4'-Difluorodiphenylmethane is an inorganic acid that is used to manufacture diazonium salts. It can be synthesized by the reaction of hydroxylamine with methylmalonyl chloride. The resultant diazonium salt reacts with magnesium chloride, sulfate, nitrate or hydrogensulfate to form 4,4'-difluorodiphenylmethane. This chemical is resistant to many industrial chemicals and has a high yield.
