Description:
1,4-Dibenzoylbenzene is a bifunctional molecule that has ether linkages and protonation. It can be used in the Suzuki coupling reaction to form new carbon-carbon bonds. The compound has luminescent properties, which makes it suitable for use in analytical chemistry. 1,4-Dibenzoylbenzene also forms isomers with different amine groups at the 4th and 5th positions.
