2,4-Difluorobenzyl amine is a synthesized compound with inhibitory effects on HIV integrase. It inhibits the enzyme activity of HIV integrase by binding to the active site and blocking the catalytic site. The compound has been shown to be an enantiomer and isolated yield. 2,4-Difluorobenzyl amine has also been shown to have inhibitory activities against other enzymes such as amines that are involved in cell signaling pathways.
