Description:
Dihydropinosylvin methyl ether is an inactivator that can be used to study the effect of nematodes on plants. It has been shown to be effective against nematodes that cause damage to plants such as symptom, clone, and population. It has also been shown to have a synergistic effect when combined with strobus, which is a flavanone that is found in plants. Dihydropinosylvin methyl ether has attracted some resistant nematodes in bioassays and has also been shown to inhibit the growth of axial nematodes.
