Product Information
- Dracorhodin perchlorate
Dracorhodin perochlorate (DPR) is a natural compound that induces apoptosis in HL60 cells. It is extracted from the roots of Radix Notoginseng and its chemical structure is dracorhodin perchlorate. DPR inhibits the growth of HL60 cells by inducing apoptosis via the intrinsic pathway, which involves the release of cytochrome c from mitochondria to activate caspase-3. This natural compound has also been shown to inhibit the proliferation of human breast cancer cells in vitro, although it does not have any cytotoxic effects on normal human mammary epithelial cells.
