Description:
2,3-Dibromo-5-chloropyridine is a chiral, aliphatic compound that is used as an antagonist. It inhibits the serotonin receptor and has been found to be effective in treating cancer and rheumatoid arthritis. This drug also has anti-tuberculosis properties and has been shown to inhibit the replication of Mycobacterium tuberculosis at concentrations below its IC50 value. 2,3-Dibromo-5-chloropyridine has not been found to be carcinogenic or mutagenic in mice.
