Description:

2,4-Dimethoxyphenylboronic acid is a cross-coupling agent that can be used with aryl chlorides to form carbon-carbon bonds. It reacts with an oxidant such as nitrosonium tetrafluoroborate (NOBF) and converts the aryl chloride into an aryl boronic acid. The reaction can be performed in flow mode or in organic solvent. 2,4-Dimethoxyphenylboronic acid has been shown to react efficiently with electron-deficient aryl boronates, which makes this chemical good for the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and other products.
