Diethylaminomethyl-polystyrene (DEAMPS) is a particle that is used for immobilizing reactants in a reaction system. It can be used for cross-coupling, osmium-catalysed, and Sharpless asymmetric dihydroxylation. DEAMPS can be recycled and minimised to produce polymers that are suitable for use as coatings or packaging materials. DEAMPS is also used in the valorisation of phosphine and sulfoxide wastes by converting them into tetroxides.
