Product Information
Difluoromethylbenzene is a chemical compound with the formula CF2CH2CF3. It is a colorless gas that can be condensed to a liquid. Difluoromethylbenzene has been shown to react with hydrogen fluoride and chloride in the presence of c1-6 alkyl, such as methyl or ethyl, to form trifluoromethanesulfonic acids, which are soluble in water. The reaction occurs at temperatures below 100°C. Difluoromethylbenzene reacts with guanylate cyclase to form soluble guanylate cyclase, which is an enzyme that regulates cellular growth and proliferation.
