Description:
7,8-Difluoro-2-Naphthalenol is a synthetic compound that is cyclic with an ethylene substituent. It has been shown to react with maleate and cycloaromatization to give substituted 2-naphthols. 7,8-Difluoro-2-Naphthalenol can be used in the synthesis of liquid crystals, which are materials that exhibit properties of both liquids and solids.
