2,4-Dichloro-5-Fluorobenzamide is a glyt1 inhibitor that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory activity. It is an iterative compound, which means it can inhibit the enzyme glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase 1 (GPDH). This inhibition prevents the conversion of glycerol to dihydroxyacetone phosphate, which leads to the accumulation of glycerol and inhibition of inflammatory reactions. 2,4-Dichloro-5-Fluorobenzamide has been shown to be effective in inhibiting GPDH in vitro.
