Product Information
- 3,5-Difluoro-1,2-benzenediamine
- 1,2-Diamino-3,5-difluorobenzene
3,5-Difluorobenzene-1,2-diamine is a nonbasic chemical that is used as a reagent in serine protease assays. It is also used to fluorinate substances such as benzimidazole and tryptase. 3,5-Difluorobenzene-1,2-diamine can be synthesized in a stepwise manner through the reaction of an electrophilic 3,5-difluorobenzene with an amine and a base. The resulting product can be used as an inhibitor of serine proteases such as trypsin and chymotrypsin.
