Di-n-butylammonium tetrafluoroborate is a salt that is soluble in organic solvents. It can be used as a catalyst for the polymerization of polyurethane, as well as for the manufacture of germanium, sulfur, tantalum and other metals. This compound can also be used to produce polymers with high thermal stability. Di-n-butylammonium tetrafluoroborate has a high catalytic activity, which is due to its ability to promote reactions by donating an electron pair from its nitrogen atom. It is suitable for use in copper metal production and many other chemical reactions.
