[(Diethylamino)Methyl]Trifluoro-Borate Potassium (1:1) is a quinazolinone antiviral agent that inhibits the replication of flaviviridae family viruses. This drug is used in the treatment of hepatitis B and C, as well as other viral infections. [(Diethyl amino)methyl]trifluoro-borate potassium (1:1) inhibits viral replication by inhibiting the function of viral enzymes such as RNA polymerase and DNA polymerase, which are required for viral replication. Flaviviridae family viruses use these enzymes to replicate their DNA and RNA.
