Product Information
- 5-Fluoroquinazoline-2,4-diamine
2,4-Diamino-5-fluoroquinazoline is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme cyano. It can be transformed into 2,4-diaminoquinazoline and 2,4-diaminotetrahydroquinazoline. This drug has been shown to inhibit the growth of human leukemia cells in vitro and in vivo. The 2,4-diaminoquinazoline and 2,4-diaminotetrahydroquinazoline compounds also inhibit DNA synthesis by binding to the amino group of guanidine residues in DNA or RNA. This drug has been shown to have an antagonist effect on the benzene ring of benzenoid compounds such as l1210, which is a type of lymphoma cancer cell line.
