Diethyl 3-Amino-6-(Trifluoromethyl)Thieno[2,3-b]Pyridine-2,5-Dicarboxylate is a chemical compound that is used as an antiplatelet medicine. It has been shown to have a protective effect on cerebral ischemia reperfusion injury in rats. Diethyl 3-Amino-6-(Trifluoromethyl)Thieno[2,3-b]Pyridine-2,5-Dicarboxylate has also been shown to inhibit the bleeding time and to reduce the number of platelets in the blood. This drug may be used to treat people with cerebral bleeding or brain injury following an operation or head trauma.
