Product Information
1-(Phenylsulphonyl)-1H-indole-3-carboxaldehyde (PSIC) is a probe that can be used to measure microenvironment changes. It has been shown to yield a constant fluorescence response when placed in organic solvents, such as benzene and chloroform. PSIC can also be used to measure dihedral angles and fluorescence emission from aldehydes. This probe has also been used in micellar solvents, which are nonpolar liquids that have low surface tension.
