Product Information
Glaucocalyxin B is a potent anticancer agent that has been shown to have cytotoxic effects on cancer cells. It binds to the dinucleotide phosphate of the apoptosis pathway, inhibiting cell proliferation and inducing apoptosis. Glaucocalyxin B induces autophagy in cancer cells, which may be due to its calcium binding activity. Glaucocalyxin B also has potent anticancer effects against carcinoma cell lines. This compound has been shown to have similar effects on microglia and Toll-like receptors as other natural compounds such as resveratrol, genistein, and curcumin.
