Ethacrynic acid-d5 is a stable isotope of ethacrynic acid, which has been used in bioreactors to study the effects of this drug on viremia. In this experiment, a dialysis cell strain was infected with the virus and damaged cells were treated with ethacrynic acid-d5. The dialysis cells showed an adsorption of ethacrynic acid-d5 and the biological activity was increased in these cells. This experiment also showed that there was no damage to the kidney tissue from treatment with ethacrynic acid-d5.
