This molecule also inhibits the proliferation of colorectal carcinoma cells by inhibiting the uptake of carbonic anhydrase. 4-[[[(3,5-Dimethylphenyl)amino]carbonyl]amino]phenyl-sulfamic Acid Ester has also been shown to induce apoptotic cell death in cancer cells and to suppress tumor growth by modulating the microenvironment.
