Description:
Ethyl benzoylacrylate is a blood pressure medicine that belongs to the group of dialkylamino compounds. It is used in the treatment of hypertension and other cardiovascular diseases. Ethyl benzoylacrylate can be synthesized by reacting benazepril hydrochloride with an alkylating agent such as L-tartaric acid or kynurenine, followed by elimination reactions. The process is completed by deionizing water and a nitro compound, resulting in the formation of ethyl benzoylacrylate.
