Description:
Ethyl 2,2,3,3,3-pentafluoropropanoate is a fluorinated chemical that has been used in photophysical studies and cell culture. It is a part of the ternary complex with hydroxybenzene and phosphorus pentoxide. The fluorescence emission spectrum shows two peaks at 442 and 480 nm. This chemical has been shown to have good biocompatibility in mice. Ethyl 2,2,3,3,3-pentafluoropropanoate also has an absorption maximum at 230 nm in the ultraviolet region.
