Description

Ethyl 7-bromoheptanoate is a hydroxamic acid that has potent cytotoxicity against cancer cells. This compound has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells and induce apoptosis in vitro. Ethyl 7-bromoheptanoate also inhibits the production of the epidermal growth factor, which may explain its anti-cancer properties.
