Ethyl 2-isocyanatobenzoate is a monosubstituted molecule that has been used as a pharmaceutical preparation. It has inhibited the activity of hormones and is an allergen. The tautomeric form of ethyl 2-isocyanatobenzoate is the same as its mirror image, which can lead to inhibition of the enzyme cck-a in cells.
