- Ethyl thiophen-3-carboxylate
Ethyl thiophene-3-carboxylate is a debenzylated, peptidic amide with congestive heart failure. It has been shown to inhibit the anomeric shift of 3,4-dihydroxypentanedioic acid by stannous chloride. This compound also inhibits the binding of radioligands to a class of receptors called G protein-coupled receptors. Ethyl thiophene-3-carboxylate can be used in the treatment of pulmonary hypertension and angina pectoris.
