Description:

1-Ethyladamantane is a trifluoroacetic acid derivative that has been shown to be a serotonin reuptake inhibitor. It is an orally active compound that can be used for the treatment of cerebrovascular disease. 1-Ethyladamantane is also known for its hydrogen chloride and thermodynamic properties. The reaction products of 1-Ethyladamantane are unknown, but it has been suggested that it may form an ethyl ester or amide of trifluoroacetic acid with the addition of a hydroxyl group. This drug may also have supramolecular chemistry applications.
