Description:

Ethyl 3-amino-1H-indole-2-carboxylate (EAICA) is a morpholine derivative. It has been shown to have antiinflammatory activity at temperatures of 37°C and above, which is mediated by the inhibition of platelet aggregation. EAICA also inhibits the production of proinflammatory cytokines in response to lipopolysaccharide stimulation. This compound has been found to yield increased levels of hydrogenolysis when mediated with formamide and amines.
