Description

Ethyl 1H-benzimidazol-2-ylacetate is a novel antibacterial agent that inhibits bacterial growth by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit. It has been shown to have synergistic effects with other agents, including coumarin derivatives, which are used in cancer treatment. Ethyl 1H-benzimidazol-2-ylacetate also inhibits cell growth and induces apoptosis in lung cancer cells. This compound has demonstrated antibacterial activity against Staphylococcus aureus and has been evaluated for its ability to inhibit cancer cell proliferation.
