Product Information
EGF-816 is a colony-stimulating factor that binds to the epidermal growth factor receptor. It has been shown to have antiviral properties, inhibiting viral replication in vitro and in vivo. The reactive nature of this drug is due to its ability to inhibit the activity of the protease enzyme. EGF-816 has been shown to be effective in treating cancer and also prevents tissue damage caused by radiation therapy or chemotherapy. EGF-816 has been shown to bind with high affinity to a number of proteins, including some that are involved in cellular signaling pathways such as protein kinase C and phospholipase C. This drug also inhibits multivariate logistic regression analysis, which is an important pharmacokinetic property for it's use as a chemotherapeutic agent.
