Product Information
Ethyl 2-(3-aminophenyl)acetate is a cell growth inhibitor that belongs to the class of amides. It inhibits tumor growth in vitro and has been shown to be effective against lung cancer cells in vivo. Ethyl 2-(3-aminophenyl)acetate is a 13C-NMR spectroscopy probe with chloride as the isotopically enriched reference. The 13C-NMR spectrum shows an upfield shift of the amide carbonyls, indicative of an amide bond, and two downfield shifts associated with the amine protons. This compound also has functional groups that resemble those found in monomers, such as imine and dimethylaminomethylene, which are involved in covalent bonding between monomers.
