Description:
Ethyl 2-aminooxazole-4-carboxylate is a synthetic compound that has been shown to selectively inhibit histone deacetylase enzymes. This inhibition leads to increased expression of genes controlling cell cycle and apoptosis, which may contribute to cancer treatment. Ethyl 2-aminooxazole-4-carboxylate also has the ability to bind with chloride ions, which can be useful for the detection of colon cancer cells.
