Description:
Ethyl 2-bromo-1,3-oxazole-4-carboxylate is a high potency FGF receptor inhibitor. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of tumor cells in preclinical studies. This drug is able to prevent angiogenesis, which is the formation of new blood vessels from pre-existing ones, and has antiproliferative effects on cancer cells. Ethyl 2-bromo-1,3-oxazole-4-carboxylate also inhibits skeletal muscle cell proliferation and prevents the activation of factor receptors in cancer cells.
