Epiisopiloturine is a natural compound that belongs to the genus Epiisopiloturine. It has been shown to have activity against Schistosomiasis, an infection caused by a parasitic worm, in vitro and in vivo. This molecule inhibits the growth of parasites by inhibiting the production of cell membrane components and also has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. Epiisopiloturine has not been tested for toxicity in an animal model, although it is unlikely to cause any adverse effects or side effects due to its low molecular weight.
