Emamectin B1a is a mouse monoclonal antibody that binds to terminal residues of the polypeptide chain of the glutamate-gated chloride channel. It has been shown to be highly resistant to emamectin benzoate, which is an antidote for emamectin and chlorantraniliprole, a chemical pesticide. Emamectin B1a is also a fluorescent derivative that can be used in analytical methods for detecting or quantifying the molecule. The stability of this molecule has been tested using analytical methods as well as acute toxicities in mice, rats and rabbits. These tests showed that it had high chemical stability and low acute toxicity.
